MILITARY GRADE MRE MEALS READY TO EAT
MREs are a complete and nutritious meal anytime, anywhere. Wornick MREs have been trusted by the US military since 1979. Ideal for emergencies! Fully cooked, fully hydrated meals that can be eaten straight from the package!
These aren’t your average camping meals—these are the same rations built for combat zones where silverware is a luxury and the nearest white tablecloth is over 100 miles away.
Powered by NXH™ Heating Technology, MREs are a self-contained self-heating multi-course meal pouch with over 1000 Calories on average. These Military-Grade MREs are safe to use in confined spaces and in virtually any temperature thanks to their advanced flameless heaters – all you need is approximately half a cup of any non-flammable liquid! MREs are ideal for hunting, camping trips, field work, and emergency preparedness for situations where power is inaccessible. Many of our customers keep one in the trunk of their car in winter.

FOR SALE IN CANADA ONLY!
Why MRE packaging says
"Commercial resale is unlawful”
These were made for the U.S. government
Wornick MREs are produced under U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
Under those contracts:
MREs are intended only for military / government use
They are not licensed for normal retail distribution
The warning is a contract + regulatory notice, not a food-safety issue
Why Canadian surplus stores can legally sell them
In practice:
Many MREs enter the civilian market through surplus sales, contractors, or secondary distributors
Canadian retailers (like FCSurplus) are not bound by U.S. DoD contract terms
There’s no Canadian law banning resale of U.S. military rations
